Rev counter and Speedo instrument lights not working
Hi everyone, Yet another electrical problem with my 2012 R230 SL350 UK model. Some but not all of the white outer rings that illuminate the rev counter and speedo randomly don't work then sometimes they do. Please see photos attached. The darker shade areas are where the lights are off. The next time I start the car they may come on then go off again. Has anyone had this happen? Are they the standard dashboard type bulbs or is it part of the electrical unit integrated inside the circuit board.
The lights are integrated into the circuit board and not meant to be serviceable. Still, the cluster assembly is not difficult to remove and disassemble, so it might be worth having a look at the bulbs.

Are they soldered onto the board or can they be removed and replaced?
Not sure why they randomly come on and off with no apparent reason or if there is anything that would cause this.
