2006 sl500 transmission issue

Hello everyone was wondering if anyone had a similar issue that I have been having. Recently when I drive my 2006 SL500 at high speeds or relatively average speeds coming to a stop especially abruptly transmission seems act up and sort of buck forward and the rpms fluctuate unevenly. It is not a constant problem but I notice it when going from high speed to low speed relatively quickly it's almost like the clutch or the transmission doesn't catch up with the engine. I am wondering if this is just in need of a transmission fluid / service change and maybe a conductor plate. Let me know what you think and if anyone has had any similar issues.

How many miles are on the vehicle, and how many miles have you put on it? What maintenance has been done to the transmission during its lifetime? What maintenance has been done to the vehicle in the past 12 months?

It's not your tranny, it's related to the Throttle body/Vacuum lines. I get it from time to time, it's so minor I forgot about it. I don't have a solution yet. I've read about it here on the forums. I used to think it was my ECU tune. Perhaps someone who solved it can chime in.

The car has 77k miles on it and sat for the last year or two. I have been daily driving it for about 6 months and plan to for a long time. I do not think any service has been done to the transmission. But all other systems for the most part have been serviced.

Because it has been not used for a while, I would get some regular mileage on this vehicle and get a good handle on the symptoms. Under exactly what conditions do the symptoms appear? A transmission service is a good idea - drain/refill and a new filter.

it seems to happen once the vehicle has come to a complete stop from speed and then the rpms are jumpy/irregular for a second then once I get back on the throttle it goes away completely. It does not happen every time but seems to be some what of an issue with either transmission or clutch.

Nobody on the forums knows M-B transmissions better than BenzWorld member MAVA. I suggest posting this over on the BenzWorld R230 forum and sending a PM to MAVA.
