My (2012 SL63 AMG - non-performance package) 7-speed makes a weird noise when I'm shifting in Manual mode. When I get on the gas pretty hard and I slap shift the stick (not the paddles - haven't tried that yet), during the transition between gears I hear a rather loud "Pssssh!" that very much resembles when a big truck bleeds its air brakes. I haven't noticed the same sound in Sport+, nor any other setting. Or have my shenanigans F'd something up?
UPDATE: It was a loose belt after 60k miles. Under high load shifts it would slip for about a half second. I finally heard a "chirp" or a "squeek" at the beginning of the "pssssh." The slipping belt "chirp" I was familiar with from previous hotrods, that got me looking in that direction.
