Steering Wheel Airbag Control Button Replace

Hello,

2004 SL55 AMG
Does anyone know how to remove the volume & phone button control pack from the airbag?
If you do, would you kindly please share the information/procedure.

Thank You

You have to remove the entire assembly from the steering wheel first. There are two recessed torx screws on the back side to remove and then the airbag connectors. They are fairly deep, so you will need a long reach torx bit to get to them.
