I'm after a little advice.

I want to update my head unit which is a Command NTG2 as far as I am aware, and has a fibre optic connection which is creating some issues.

I tried to get a local audio specialist to do this but their blank faces and questions raised a few concerns and nobody else wanted to attempt it.

I did similar in my 2007 SLK350 but the SL is proving more complicated because of the fibre optic amp.

So, I have purchased the MOST fibre optic adapter and I am assuming I can go for a standard install kit such as the one from connects2 below

Can I use this and then plug the fibre optic cable into the MOST adapter and the RCA plugs into the stereo?

Is that all I need to worry about?
