Greetings All-
Just acquired a 2006 SL500 with 31,400 miles on it. The only issue with the car are parking sensors. How can I test the system/sensors? Can the individual sensors be replaced?
Any advise on this or articles would be greatly appreciated.

DAS or a good Mercedes specific diagnostic tool will identify which sensors are bad. They can be replaced individually, but must be painted to match the bumper.

Can confirm the iCarSoft MBII will monitor each individual parking sensor.
Also WIS says first thing to do is to check the sensors are clean, and mounted correctly (not sunk, or off center).
Finaly they are prone to issues when the connectors get wet, so sometimes they work, and other times they do not.
They do fail permantly though, so if you diagnose some bad ones I recomend you purchase two or three sensors, paint them the correct colour, then take bumpers off and start swapping out.
