2007 SL550
Coolant temp sensor
I am looking for the location of the coolant temperature sensor for my 2007 SL550.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

SL500 & GL450
It's located at the back of the left cylinder head (Drivers side for a North American vehicle) on the lower half of the cylinder head. If you reach around between the cylinder head and the firewall, you'lll feel 2 wire looms. The "upper" loom leads to the Coolant Temp sensor, and the "lower" loom leads to the Crank Position sensor.
