Insane Mecum Houston Prices
Anyone else watching the auction and thinking something’s in the air? Lot F150, an ‘04 SL500 with 83K miles sold for almost $32K, including commission. There’s overpaying, and then there’s something else. What gives?

Lots of “free” money rolling around, people not spending vacation money, new car prices and availability, used car availability. Used cars have been difficult to come by for years, and people are keeping their cars for many more miles. This last debacle was the last straw. I see people buying 20 year old cars that should be off the road for daily drivers, there’s nothing out there.

This place is a joke.
Lots of ignorant buyers on these older SL's. They are complete money pits between the constant ABC suspension and hydraulic top problems. Friend of mine sold his SL55 to CarMax last year after his 4th ABC related failure right after he had all the top rams rebuilt.
