What Motorola phone came standard?

Good afternoon, in the console I see a male plug for the Motorola phone which may have been installed when car new. The phone is missing and I’d like to replace. Does anyone know the model (Startak?) or mb part number? Thank you

If with 'plug' you mean the MHI or UHI connector, depending where you are, you click on a cradle that accepts the phone. As far as I know most European SL's got Nokia cradles and phones. Pro's: stock communication with Comand screen, instrument cluster and steering wheel buttons, excellent sound quality, external antenna (the stub on the rear quarter panel), exceptionally effective stock microphones in rear vision mirror. Con's: music streaming not possible, 3G or even 2G network (in my country 2G remains available as basic backup system).
When parked/locked, the unit shuts off. That old phone battery in the Nokia 6021 still has an endless standby time of weeks.

In the US I don't think there is a 4G comaptible phone anymore. Most of us have replaced the phone with a plug in bluetooth module that fits the cradle allowing us to use our modern cell phones.

Yes, obviously. I had that old phone laying around, got the cradle on eBay and use the car phone as a 'sub' of my iPhone. Very cheap solution, does the trick.
