Replacing radio (spiral audio) 2008 SL 550
Found a installer to replace my radio using interface with SWC I bought from Spiral Audio, installer says sometimes the SWC doesn’t work, not necessarily my vehicle but on other vehicles. Has anyone had issues with Spiral audio products

2008 SL550
Installer said he can add backup camera for $250 installed so I jumped on that. Total cost $1500, $500 for spiral audio Interface with SWC, $250 for backup camera, $150 SiriusXM adapter installed and $600 for radio and installation. SWC is working fine. Installer said this was by far the hardest job he worked on and should have charged $1500 vs $600. It took 1 day for the radio and one day for the camera plus a number hours looking at you tube videos.
