RIDE HEIGHT

Gents:
What would be the original ride height in the R-230..? The top of my front wheel is 1-3/4" from the fender edge.! (two fingers approximately).!
Shouldn't that be between 2-1/2" and 3.0 inches???

Thanks again for your feedback.>!

There are difference between every SL model and every car. Having a 3" gap on a roadster SL seems excessive and too high, the sort of gap you would expect on saloon?
My SL has about the same gap as yours and seems fine to me.

E1EK thanks for your feedback. ! The reason I am concerned with the ride height is because in some turns on transitions from inclined to flat, I have heard some rubbing..! I assume that is an inherited issue since I have checked the height ride on other forums and they state that the distance from floor to the top edge of the fender bay is around 27". I got 26-3/4", so not too far from target! I even wonder if the ABC have control over these conditions..! My ABC was removed and use coil-overs and a 26 mm front sway bar. My struts are Bilstein and have minor adjustment features.

I would guess the wheels have a different offset than the stock ones, maybe that’s the issue.
