Solar battery charger
Has anyone found a solar charger that is suitable to maintain the consumer battery? Really chaps my butt to have to connect a maintainer on this supposedly superior car- my XK8 can sit for a long time, and fires right up- as do all my Ford stuff

Would really depend on the severity of the discharge on the consumer battery. If only a light discharge then may find one with an output bigger than the discharge, but if a big discharge, then you may need a solar farm....

How long are you leaving the car between uses? I got rid of my rear battery and bought a Mercedes Genuine battery as I had issue, that was 3 years ago and I never use any trickle charging. I use the car every 5-6 weeks with no starting issues even in winter.
