I'd like to hear from anyone who has installed the remote top box. I've been over the instructions and read a few threads on it and I know it's an easy install. I'm having a heck of a time just getting to the can bus plug, The wiring is like an inch too short. Anyone have any tips on how to get at it better? Or is there a zip tie or something in there holding it back that I'm not seeing. Maybe a tool or method I'm missing? It's driving me crazy.

If you haven’t already, put the top down so it’s easier to see what you’re working with.

My strand was very short too. I think I clicked out a small plastic rail that holds the plugs. That gave me some room to move.

I think I decided to remove that side panel.

I was kind of worried I would have to take some of that out to get down in there easier.
