Teleaid / SRS fault after removing amp fuse?

After doing some research I was fairly certain that the teleaid system was hard wired and not tied into command fuses ? My bose amplifier was malfunctioning and seems to have also knocked out the head unit which was causing a 4.5 amp draw resulting in dead aux batteries. The fix for now seemed to be as simple as pulling the f66 (amp) & f76 fuse but now I am getting the red SRS light & some error messages. . . I do plan on completing upgrading the sound system, and advice on how to stos the srs & teleaid codes? Also can anyone confirm that fuse f66 (25amp , amplifier) is actually tied into the teleaid ? Thanks

You have to code Teleaid to Not Present in the cluster and (I think) in the airbag module. If you were retaining stock audio, you also need to loop the fiber around the teleaid module and update the configuration in command. Also remove the fuse for the teleaid module, no need to power it.

thanks for the reply, think an independent shop would be able to code it out ? I plan to remove all stock atereo equipment & rewire, is the teleaid fuse also fuse f66?

F76 and F16 on D2B (03-04), F65 and F16 on pre-facelift MOST (05-08).

Does iCarsoft not do variant coding? I can do it with Launch or, of course, DAS.

Any indy that specializes in MB should be able to do it.
