two piece wheel barrel replacement

i have a two piece wheel that appears to be previously damaged and repaired. it holds air but i would prefer to just swap with an undamaged wheel barrel (?)

does anyone have any clue where i could find one of these? it’s a rear wheel surprisingly not a front wheel. pn 2114001402 if that helps.

im guessing they don’t exist anymore so i would have to go custom

You're ask is way too vague to get an answer that will Really help.
What's muye importante' is the manufacturer. and the build date. Meaning; If the company stills exists or if it's popular enough to have copies made and if there's barrels available.
Almost every 2-3 piece wheel has a different type of lip and barrel per the original company.
There are a Lot of private companies that rebuild 2-3 piece wheels and can even custom build the width and offset.

He gave you the wheel number, you gave him a hard time?

Maybe you can be more informative now.

Hi,
I had the same wheels on my 2005 SL65, they were only for 2 years on the SL65, I think because they are too weak. Many of them have been repaired over the years. about 2 years ago I checked with the dealer and they still sell them. They were about 2500 USD a piece. I think your best choice is to find a replacement on Ebay, they come up for sale as used and refurbished, usually around 600-800 a piece.

If you find a place to rebuild them, make sure you find a very good place. The bolts in these wheels are titanium, not easy to get and they have some Loctite on them. many people screw up the weak thread in the aluminum barrels. You are supposed to heat the barrel a bit close to where the bolts are and then get them out, still a very bad design.

I replaced them with BBS wheels but the offset is not quite right but very drivable, I will buy new other BBS wheels in the future

Apologies if I may have come off badly.
There's ways to deal with this particular situation which is how I should've mentioned in the thread.
This exact wheel isn't an “aftermarket" wheel but is crafted like many 2-3 piece aftermarket brands which creates a whole special set of circumstances. Meaning; places the repair Aluminum wheels here in the U.S. don't get these wheels in for repair almost at all unless they're a Euro wheel repair specialist so the outer barrel can get damaged if the repair shop isn't fully aware of the bolts and threads etc. of this particular wheel.
When already dealing with previous damage from prior repairs there’s several choices.

Find a regionally accredited Euro wheel repair shop and negotiate having all your wheels disassembled, stripped, resurfaced and replacing the hardware with Ti hardware

Putting them up for sale and buying new ones which are going to cost about the same if you use the credit for the originals

Buy a new set ( or even used ) Aftermarket 2-3 piece wheel

Problem is with that specific wheel here in the U.S. your options are severely limited whereas if this was Europe it would be much easier and a lot less costly being it is a MB Factory wheel and it's a very limited use, low volume 2 piece wheel . That's what I should've opened with.
Again; check regional wheel repair shops the specialize in Porsche, Audi, MB , BMW etc and be very specific about asking if they repair MB factory 2 piece wheels using Ti hardware
Good Luck
