TeleAid was an analog satellite based system which connected Mercedes vehicles between 2000-2006 to a centralised network which reported traffic accidents, tracked stolen vehicles, and offered a direct line of contact to Mercedes customer service. The system is now defunct, so the TeleAid system now has nothing to connect to thus provides you no more utility than would having a hand crank to start your engine.When your vehicle was produced in 2005, the smartphone had not yet been invented, so there is no way to connect it directly to your vehicle since the technology was not yet in production.
