kick-down switch incorrect part on early r230
our r230 sl500 is a very very early 2003. the kick down switch needs to be replaced, it was one of the first r230 in the country
the corresponding part refers to:

This version has what appears to be a 4 position connector
but the actual part in the car looks like this:

with the correct 2 position connector. Is this normal for part references to be incorrect?
