Install keyless-go..?

Hi.
I recently bought a SL600 from 2005, with only 66.000 km (42.000 miles).
But I miss the keyless-function.
Is it possible to install that afterwards, because this particular car was sadly delivered without..?

I've seen a part on ebay.de "A2305450132" for as little as 36,- euros, and that made me start to wonder because I would really love to have that feature...:-)

It is possible, but not practical. You need the module, numerous antennas, new shifter, new door actuators, coding, wiring, etc.

It can be done, but it has been said it would be easier and less expensive to sell your car and buy one with keyless go. Apparently lots of parts and wiring and reprogramming.

OK, that was a bit disappointing to hear.
But that sounds both realistic and logical, of course.
I wasn't thinking straight...only saw the box I mentioned, and the gear-lever in front of me!
Well well, thanks for the awakening at least.
