Deer whistles, where to mount them on SL400/500 _ SL450/550?
Hello All,
A buddy of mine recently bought a low mileage 2016 SL400, I have a 2017 SL 450. We live right down the street from each other in a rural area near the Alabama gulf coast. My buddy just bought a pair of
deer whistles to protect his "new baby" from the local deer population. Has anyone here bought and installed deer whistles on their SL400/500 or SL 450/550? If so, would you mind sharing with us where
you placed your deer whistles; and how effective have they been for you? Thanks in advance.

I mounted mine under a horizontal surface each side of the front license plate holder after I hit a dear. Now they turn away from the road and step back, instead of springing/jumping into the road. I used the tape surface to mount them until 1 fell off. Then I used a power screwdriver to screw in the self tapping phillips head mounting screws.
I saw him jumping into the road from the left, slammed on brakes, and he glanced off the front right side. He just left a small dent on the leading edge of the hood.
