SL 500 exterior paint designo CHABLIS (043)
I've recently ordered a SL 500 with designo chablis exterior paint. I have not seen any SL pics with this color, and the one i saw in designo catalogue (E Class) is just not what it really looks like under normal daylight.
Could anyone please post pics of ANY merc model with this paint color ??
I have exactly the same car as from pic below, if someone saw chablis, do let me know if it is darker or lighter gold !?

hey miki,
i tried out everything to get a picture of the chablis colour. push the hell out of google and some mercedes-related sites, but nothing to find. i haven´t seen any mercedes in (043) yet so im also very interested how it looks.
edit:
you can try searching throug www.fan-galerie.de the biggest MB-foto archiv on the WWW. there are over 25pages only of SL-photos. this one "could" be chablis, but also could be designo white:

I'm still looking for a real chablis color as computer generated pics sometimes are completely different than the real thing
Do let me know if you come accross a pic of chablis merc .. cant wait to get mine in February

this is what i ordered, what do you think, will it fit together ?
Mercedes dealer said i should not go for designo leather as its only partial (only seats are done while most of the other parts are left black) .. anyway, i did get designo :

W64 Ahorn Maser Designo natur
X12 Designo beige-yellow leather
Y84 Designo Alcantara beige roof top
Y94 Gear shift - leather/wood
Y95 - steering wheel - leather/wood
I;ve noticed that SL is a lot cheaper in the US than in Europe ..
I;ve paid my SL 500 (full equipment, i dont think i left out anything) 110,000 EUR which is 140,000USD .. I think you can buy a SL 55 or even a 65 for 140k in the US ... correct me if i am wrong
