I bought 25mm spacers on the rear of my stock AMG 18" staggered wheels as I also thought they looked too far in, I like the wheels to be flush with the body work. I then added 2 x 5mm spacers to the front as well. Later I bought some 19" and lowered the car by 30mm I used the same spacers and very pleased with the look.
