My starter battery needed to be replaced. It was over 6 years old and would not hold a charge. To R&R I first disconnected the negative terminal of the consumer battery and then removed the starter battery. Interstate tested it and it did need to be replaced. Installation was the reverse of the removal. When I started the car I got ESP on the left DIS and “Not Available See owners manual” on the right DIS. I also do not have any of the consumer battery functions, like A/C or radio. While the car is running I am getting 14.2 volts at the consumer battery and 12.9 with the car off. It has also been on a tender and is only a year old.

Any thoughts as what to do?

Turn the steering wheel left and right about 5 times and the esp/ dis messages should go away

Just drive the car down the street and go back and it'll be back to normal
