2003 SL500 (R230)
Top/trunk not working
The hydro system is out. I attempted to open the top earlier and it wouldn’t lay flat, so, I tried to close it back and now…






… trunk won’t open or close, with or without the key. Tried the door switch and key.

The driver’s side of the trunk near the glass is up and loose. The passenger’s side is “locked” down.

Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction, even if it’s just links provided.

'03 SL55 Black, '03 SL500's Aegean, Mars Red, Tazanite, Alabaster, '11 S550 Flint Gray
Open with the metal key, manually lock the unlocked side, check fluid level.

Finally got it open
I was able to get it open after a few more tries. Forgot the top has to be latched completely.
(I forgot and left that part out)
