Battery voltage menu on 2009 SL63?
Hi everyone,
I tried to search but I can't seem to find an answer. How do I access the menu on my 2009 SL63 AMG on the dash that will show my battery voltage?
My situation is, the car was parked for 45 days, went to take for a spin, it started (I could tell it struggled) and drove it for about 20 minutes, ran into a store and came out, and would not start. I got a jump, it started immediately, and now am home after driving around for another 45 minutes to hopefully charge the battery. I don't know if its the starter battery or the alternator. The car only has 30k miles on it.
thank you all in advance for any insight

Turn key in accessories position.
In right display toggle to ambient temperature or speed.
Push reset stalk between the dials 3x.
Voltage shown.
You can toggle to other info.
With key turned to next step (don't start engine) you can read quantity of engine oil.
Whatever is on display will remain there, showing live data, when you take a ride, until you toggle again.
Much simpler for reading voltage: put a usb plug with voltage display in the cig lighter.

The rear battery feeds the cig lighter in the ashtray, because it feeds everything except the starter motor (and some back up stuff that you don't mind here/now).
