Rear Mirror
Some time ago I noticed that the rear-view mirror has turned yellow and no longer dims when the light comes on. At first it didn't bother me much, but now it's quite annoying. If I open the inside of the rearview mirror and replace only the glass part, will the problem be solved or can it be repaired?

I'd be surprised when you'd be able to get a new mirror glass separately. But I'd like to mention that according to WIS, the liquid crystals in the dimming mirrors are toxic.

You'd better find a used part as replacement....I did that few months ago.....There are many Benz models using the same mirror. I paid $20 for the replacement (Out the junkyard) then painted the outside to match!

I don't recall when they removed the auto-adjust feature (position can be recalled from the seat, etc memory buttons where it is set) for the center rear view mirror (2004?), but keep this in mind when buying one if you like this feature in your 2003
