2009 SL550 front Accumulator

I want to change the front Accumulator unit in the front driver wheel well, I have already done the rear. on my front I don’t see any quick connecters or a simple way to get it out. I was thinking of removing the front bumper to get to the unit but am I missing something? I have searched the forum, but they don’t seem to match up to the 2009 it does not slide out like the rear or again have any quick connectors.

any help is appreciated.

on my 07 SL550, which is similar to 09, I removed the valve block, put it in vice and replaced the accumulator. To unscrew the accumulator, I used 21mm or 13/16 wrench and grinded the sides to make it thin enough to fit between accumulator and the valve body. To remove the valve body off the car, I just unscrewed the hoses. Upon the completion, I did the fluid/filter change using rodeo procedure in Star diagnostic. Hope it helps.

Pretty much what he said. Getting the valve block out is a PITA.
