Bouncing/Floating

Question. I own a 07 SL550, and when I drive the car at speeds (75-130mph), it feels like the car is "Floating." And when I drive around town going over bumps and such on the road, the car seems to "Bounce" when it shouldn't be bouncing at all. Could both of these issues spell out suspension trouble?

Thank you.

I solved this on my 2003 500SL by rebuilding the 2 suspension valve blocks, and replacing the 4 accumulators with new ones.

Reading this brings back so many bad memories. Loved my SL but I do not miss the headaches.

Yea, you definitely take at least one of the headaches out of the equation with coilovers, all the other inherent Mercedes headaches and more are still there.
