Look up website for Mercedes equivalent parts anyone know?
Hi All
I am trying to find if a Mercedes part number I have for the Audi Gateway has other equivalent Mercedes parts numbers from other models that will work with my car being a Mercedes SL 350 year 2004.
The part I am looking up for the Audio Gateway is A220 870 17 89
Thanks in advance.

EPC is probably the best as it shows replacement P/N's where they have been superseded. You should be safe going to a later part, but would be better off avoiding an earlier version as it might not be backwards compatible. In your case, 220 870 17 89 was superseded by 220 870 28 89 and then by 220 870 40 89.

Not sure if this site will work for your needs since you are overseas, but it is an actual Mercedes Benz USA parts site.

Im thinking the part #s would be the same if used in other models. I dont think they would take the same part and put two different part #s on it depending which model its used it. Especially electrical components where specific software is involved. I could be totally wrong through.
Even if you look at the parts diagrams for your car you may see 10 different part numbers listed, but only 1 of those is used in your specific car from the factory.
