I have a 2011 SL550 and was wondering if I can open and close the top with just my remote control and how?

also with the trunk.

Hold the key up to the IR receiver in the door handle and press open. (At least this is the procedure for 2005 model - surely same for yours.. ?)

Not working? Probably dry solder joints in the module in the handle. Known issue on early cars.

In addition. Try locking the car then try the key fob at the little infrared on the handle by pressing the unlock button, you may need to get pretty close 1" away if your lens is dirty, you can also raise the roof in the same manner by pressing the lock, I did a video ages ago to help explain:

The top does work with your procedure but for some reason, my 2 small window in the back does not roll up after it close. The 2 front does roll up. Do you know why or how to fix that?
