I bought an SL from Autos of Europe in Manchester a couple of years ago. Supposedly, it was a car that they had regularly serviced, roof became inoperable, and the owner decided to consign it with them instead of have them repair it. When I got it home, rear SAM was separated from the fuse block and a wire was removed from the trunk divider switch. Popped the SAM back together, put the wire back on the switch, everything worked. I can't be 100% sure what went on there, but based on that experience, I would recommend staying away. They had the car at $8500 most of the summer, then dropped it directly down to $4500. Told me that they told the owner to price it to sell or come get it.
