Source for Leather Dyes?
Has anyone got a source for leather dye?

Thanks, and now that you mention it, I've used them before.
Not much luck with their rejuvenation products, but have been pretty successful with the dyes in various colors.

I found a new great leather dye company Leather World Technology that has good $60 kits for a lot less than Leatherique whom I have used a few times. I'll paste a link in my next reply in case this system rejects links.

Just sold my '11 Porsche TurboS cab for an '03 SL55!
Wow! Seat Doctor dye is a great match .......... their off the shelf Berry Red for $25, is not only cheap compared to the others, but a great color match.
I used it on some very minor seat scratches but more importantly to restore my unsightly shift knob. The knob is no longer available new in Berry, and I may have come across a NOS but it was something like $500..........and as bad as I wanted to fix what was really the only cosmetic flaw in my interior, $500 wasn't happening. There was a used one or two over the last two years on eBay, but they looked worse than mine. I masked mine off and applied 5-6 light coats with an airbrush like setting on my touch gun. A minor scratch or two showed up after a coat or 3, which I was able to smooth out with a bit of 1000 grit paper, looks like new. I also dabbed a bit on some scuffs in a few plastic parts.........great result there too. Go for it and thanks again to the fellow above who pointed me to Seat Doc.

Also, FYI, having restored many a seat over the last 20+ years, I recall using a crack filler from another source that was more or less a thickened white glue. Shrinks alot as it drys and then requires many coats, and then a bit of very fine grit sand paper, but it works. Also, BTY, the interior resto/color change pictured above was a mega improvement on that light colored interior. Nice Work!!
