Audio Help, No Sound from speakers

I have a 2004 SL600 with ~85,000 miles. I had the car in storage over the winter, and when I got it back, the command unit would not power on, nothing on the screen. After checking every fuse in all the compartments under the hood and in the rear glovebox, I discovered there is a 10-amp fuse in the back of the command. Once the fuse was changed out the screen worked, but no sound would come out of the speakers. After ripping apart the rear glove box to get to the amp, which also had a blown 20-amp fuse, I replaced the fuse in the amp, but still no sound.

Ran a scan with Xentry and had the following error:

I have fault code: N1111-001 No data transfer between D2B master and D2B component possible: The component at location 1 reports a fault in the DB2 ring.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try disconnecting the fiber optic cable to the amp with the radio and then slowing move the cable back towards the amp - I don't know why this worked on my 09 SL550 but it did. I did not have to reconnect the plug all the way to the amp - the music started flowing when it was within 1/2 an inch of the connection. Good luck Socks
