Hydraulics for the top and suspension (ABC) are the usual suspects mostly due to their age and extreme high pressure the system uses. You have the first year of the new motor so some teething issues there but I have 06 so I don't know what those are.

The major issues with the R230 have been worked out for the post face lifted cars. However, with all R230’s the ABC and Vario Roof can be an issue. The engine and transmission are solid but upkeep is the key to keep them running for years to come.
ABC on the SL’s can be converted to coil overs and many have done that. However, if the ABC is working great keep it up as it is truly a engineering marvel.
