Rain sensor not working (module is replaced)

Hello, the rain sensor on my Mercedes SL55 2005 is not working. I can switch the handle to position1, then the wiper does 1 move from left to right and back to its original position.
-you can spray water on the sensor but nothing happens

Work done:
1) MB dealer diagnosed the module, but there are no errors.
2) Rain sensor A2308208926 is replaced by MB dealership (and trained)
3) Front window/windshield has been replaced (to ensure there are no obstructions in the window that affect the operation)

After all the above it is still not working.

Can you give any tips??
-Does anyone has a full wiring and module scheme?
-Can it be faulty wiring?
-To which internal module does the rain sensor connect?
-To which relays, circuit breakers does the rain sensor connect?
-Other tips?

Thanks

I would start by checking the coding in the driver's SAM. There were two sensors used, I believe that you should have the later rain/light sensor and that needs to be properly coded. Also, check wiper motor and relay function using the actuations in DAS for that SAM.

I was even thinking about consulting Morpheus8 Fort Lauderdale for advice on troubleshooting, but spraying water on the sensor still does nothing.

Since the rain sensor and windshield have already been replaced and the module shows no errors, the most likely causes are faulty wiring/connector, SAM module communication issues, or missing coding/relearning. The sensor connects to the Front SAM module, which then communicates with the wiper motor module; there are no dedicated relays, but the circuit is protected by the wiper-related fuses. Check the connector for corrosion or bent pins, verify wiring continuity, and ensure the SAM module has been properly coded or re-learned for the new sensor.
