Updating the navigation system
Though I grew up reading maps, I’ve become used to dashboard navigation help in my cars. While my 2007 SL has a working system, it’s no surprise that the navigation CD is significantly outdated, so it’s almost like having no navigation help at all. Before I opt for a new head unit with more up to date capabilities, I’d like to know if there’s a less dramatic work-around available.

I too have noticed how notchy and slow the system is, although much better than my 2005 Aston DB9's system, it is shamed by the system in my 2016 Cayenne...Any system help short of replacing the head unit would be appreciated...BTW I love this car' the way it drives and performs... in this it shames all my others [so I guess this is what it is all about]....
