SL600 R230 2004
Bluetooth

Hi,
I bought my car used with a working Bluetooth connection. It seems to have gone dead and no longer pops up to pair. Any guidance/ how to do advice out there for installing a new Bluetooth devise or any common reason while it is failing? My SL600 model is from 2004.

It will probably have a Bluetooth module in the arm rest if it is original.

You pair your phone to that not the head-unit.

Maybe it is just disconnected. Remove and re-fit the module and re-pair it to your phone.

Press the button on it, and on your phone enter the pass-code, which is MBUSA on the numeric keys.

If it doesn't allow re-pairing, it may be time for a new head-unit as the Mercedes one was out of date when the car was new.
