Trunk service mode help

I need to put my trunk into service mode/position and it will not lift. I tried with the key at the 11 o'clock position and nothing. In the photo with the gray arrows below, I unlocked the hinge with the bolt. You can see it loose at the arrow on top. In the second photo I released the pressure at the pump and unplugged it. In the video, you can see the arm move but that is as far as it will go. It acts like something is stuck. What am I missing?

You say 'the hinge', did you release both hinges? If so, you need to start by pulling straight up at the rear of the frame. It needs to come up a few inches before it can pivot.

Also, if your roof is working, the quickest way to get into service mode is to open the roof just until the trunk is up, then open the lid at the rear using the key. No pump bypass, no manual unlocking of the frame latches.

Here's a good video that describes the process. As Mike mentioned above, there are two hinge that need to be released and then you have to pull up first from the base. This is what got me the first time I did this. I still have never been able to do it alone. My son has had to help me out on several occasions. Good luck!

Yes, I released both sides. The reason for this is to remove the trunk lift cylinder for repair.

I had re-closed the pressure relief valve prior to trying to lift the trunk frame. When I get an extra set of hands I will try again.
