Talking Faulty brake light switch

Today, out of the blue, my 04 sl500 became very difficult to shift out of park. Several times, I thought I was going to have to call a flat bed. I suspected the brake switch but this car is so new to me and so complicated electronically I headed to the dealer(Bobby Rahal in Pittsburgh) The shop foreman agreed with my thoughts and pulled the car in right away. Twenty minutes later, I was down the road. I don't know if it was cold weather or bad luck, but the new switch seems to work fine. Of course it was working o.k. by the time I got to the dealer! I wonder if this is the kind of service one can expect from a Merc dealer or is it just this particular shop. I must say that I have purchased three Volvos from their shop down the road, but I am not sure they know that. At any rate, Bravo Bobby Rahal Mercedes!
