Those ugly airbag warning stickers
Does anyone know how to safely remove the hideous airbag warning stickers from the sun visors?

Take a close look. Bet you'll see where they were.

Try Goo Gone, which is a citrus-based product to remove stickers. Follow instructions, and keep in mind that is not designed for leather or vinyl. However, I used it for removing those stickers with success. You can buy Goo Gone in any store and is inexpensive. Be cautious and try a sample first as it may different from my car.

Did I blow it or can you still see the indentation where the stickers were? When I did this, the Goo Gone got off all the sticky part but I could never get rid of the very slight indentation caused by the process of putting it on.
I even took the sunvisors to a leather shop and they heated the leather to try to remove the very slight indentation.
Bet if you look really closely under the right light, you will see the outline of the stickers.
Either that, or my sun visors screwed me. Being as neurotic as I am, I could see the very slight indentation under certain light conditions and I ended up ordering new ones.
Well, that is me.

I peeled mine off too. No need for any Goo Gone, just fingernails. I also can see where the stickers were, but mine seems to be more from slight discoloration than indentation. The spot where the stickers were is a little lighter in color. I will investgate further but will probably just live with it. It still looks alot better without the stickers!

Hate to beat a dead horse but I used Goo Gone too. You have to be really careful as it will hurt the leather or vinyl.

I know its been a while since this post, but where did get the replacement cover for your Sun Visor? I've been looking on various dealer sites but they only list the sun visor without the cover. I don't know what to call the cover in my searches.
Thanks,

This thread reminds me of the time when we thought everything was solved, done and taken care of. No worries in our world (pre Corona, pre aids, even). Folks discussed whether toilet rolls should be hung with paper hanging from the front or rear of the roll. When life is near perfect, settling for it is an option... do I have stickers on my visors? I'd have to walk over to the car to know - nah.
