Quote: I just got a 2004 SL, and during delivery I was shown how to mount the wind screen. I did not notice how/where to store it when off, as I don't intend to use it often.

Is there a place where the wind screen stores properly?

Herman
In the trash can.

Keep mine in the loft of my garage. Only other place is your boot(trunk) or the bin as Tiggerfink recommends!

Mine is (still) in the original packaging. Has never been opened. Was stuck in an armoire in a guest room of my house. It will remain there exactly as it is until the day comes when I sell the car.

It's Useless!
It's a useless item on the car, that's one they should have taken out for sure and left some other items in the car.

Agree with all of that, it just gets in the way because the curved ends ean you cannot stand it on its end.
