Abc - Drive Carefully!

Getting this message on my new SL500. THis car is really starting to aggravate me. I've been back to the dealers 3 times since March for the noisy brakes which they can't seem to fix and everytime I go there I point out a smell of burning oil or antifreeze. They find nothing, now I get this message on the weekend. Probable cause according to manual is OIL LEAK!

I've experienced the same thing with my Ferrari (an F355GTS). Mine was caused by overheating as a result of a problem with the emissions system.

Not sure of the details, but the ECU shuts down most of the engine. The car barely moves--I'd be surprised if you could do 50 MPH. My guess is that it does more than shut down a few cylinders--probably limits the amount of fuel as well. The car drives like it has 50 horses under the hood.
