My new sl diamond white what a long wait
Does anyone know if I should be waiting 3 months for this car to be built
Was ordered in July was supposed to be here in mid August now dealers states mid October
Is this a normal wait period for a 2013 sl

Porsche Cayenne S - BMW 525 (2011) - Mercedes A Class - SL 350 (2013)
I ordered minne towards mind/end June and i am taking delivery on the 28th of September.
I am not in the USA though, in Lebanon.
EDIT: I wrote mid/end July, but actually it was mid/end June. Damn, I've been waiting long!

mine, for some inexplicable reason, sat at the port in germany for 3+ weeks. good news is that i have now had the car for several weeks and it is magnificent: power, quality, and to my prejudiced eye, very good looking. incidentally, motor authority tested the sl63, the m6 conv., and jag xkr-s and found the sl63 the clear winner and did NOT find any particular fault with the electric steering. your wait will be worth it.

2013 SL63, 2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel, Tesla P85D on order
I ordered my SL63 in mid-June. It's suppose to arrive in the US tomorrow and the dealer said it will take another 7 to 10 days to get to him. So 3+ months is my experience.
