2013 SL550 Lease Transfer
Hi All,
I have a 4 month old 2013 SL550 and I need to transfer the lease. Having a baby and need a car with 4 seats. Thought I'd post here and see if anyone was interested.
2013 SL550
Steel Gray/ Red Premium Leather/Black Ash Trim
Premium One Package
AMG Sport Wheel Package
Driver Assistant Package
Illuminated Door Sills
Wood Leather Steering Wheel
Analog Clock
MSRP was $116,345
23 Months left on a 27 month lease, 10,000 miles a year. Car has 2,800 miles on it. Payment is $1,990 a month and includes the tax.
Garaged and flawless, I will cry when it actually departs from my garage
You can email me at aavini@mac.com or call at 917-361-6854.

Well, what I also know is that when I built a car at that price, paid full retail(who does), financed it through MB for 27 months and 10,000 miles a year, added 5% taxes here in VA it's still cheaper than your USED car. But if you found sucker(s), good for you.
Edit: Seriously, I'm sorry. You deserve to market it the way you want. I should keep the facts to myself.

A bit over extended financially? My condolences. But hey, why the harsh words, you have three buyers to chose from right?

Thank you for your concern regarding my finances.
I feel really sorry for you. You obviously have a big chip on your shoulder.
Sad that some people can only be happy when they bully others. Enjoy your SL with a lower monthly payment, until wake up.
Have a good night, I sure will.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Being a ***** on the forums isn't going to endear someone to take over your lease (not to mention your post history clearly shows you said you just bought a CLS63 in July...yet you need to get rid of the SL because you "suddenly" need 4 seats).

I just leased a new BMW 640I Gran Coupe for my wife, lists for $101k, lease pmt $1k per month, 36 months, 15,000 miles per year. Your lease payment is double with only 10,000 miles per year. The numbers just don't work.

Leases can vary widely so they're difficult to compare, especially when the leasing terms differs (i.e. 27 months vs 36 months) and if the leasing company is willing to stretch the residual. There are a lot of attractive lease offers out there (but not always for the most desirable cars, though BMW often offers pretty good ones across their line). The numbers quoted by the OP are not that unrealistic for a 27-month term SL550 lease, even assuming a reasonable money factor. It may not have been a good deal, but unless you get an actual quote from a MB dealer you can't just say it's wrong.
BMW is offering great leasing deals for the Gran Coupe, was yours like this one?
http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/conte...regiontypeid=2
However that's $919/month without tax for a MSRP of $88,345.00 and assumes a $5000 down payment (cap cost reduction, prepaying payments). They also have a 640i GC deal for $799/month but based on a MSRP of $77,845.00 and $4500 down. Yes, these are all great lease deals in comparison even considering that the SL's MSRP is 40%-50% more and assuming zero/minimum down.
P.S. The 6-series GC is a sweet car and I seriously considered it instead of the SL. Too bad it doesn't offer a power trunk option... :-)

SLS, thank you for the lease information. That is extremely helpful in deciding what I should do. I know that there are really differing lease packages and they are affected by time of year, inventory, etc.
I still have about 6 weeks before my SL on order arrives at the dealer. That gives me some time to figure out what to do.
