SL/R231: New Owner Questions

I am the new owner of a 2013 SL550. Obsidian black with ABC, sport wheel package, driver assistance, premium package, burl walnut trim, premium leather, illuminated door sills and soft close doors. It was manufactured in December on an order I gave to my local dealer in Southern California. BTW, the deal was good - $114,000 plus free goodies on an invoice of $115,275 on a MSRP of $123,135.
Anyway, I have some questions that I hope some of you can answer. This is my first MB coming from a BMW 335i convertible.
1) When driving with the navigation and radio on how do I shift off only the radio (or other audio source) so as to have silence with the navigation still on? The on/off button below the navigation system shuts off everything including the navigation. In my BMW I was able to just turn off the audio source with one click. The only way I have found so far is to keep clicking on the disc button until it finds a non-connected audio source and then I leave it at that. Cumbersome to say the least...however I am sure that it is likely that I just haven't noticed something simple. Often happens.
2) Can I change the volume of the ParkTronic beeping when backing up? I want it to be able to overpower the radio.
3) Is there a way to split the temperature of the air conditioning system feed directed towards the face? In the BMW I could instantly change the temperature of the air headed toward the face - and it had nothing to do with either the temperature at other levels of its volume.
Loving the car...

1>Just turn down the radio volume. It doesn't affect the voice from the GPS.
2>You can't change the parktronic volume.
3>only diffused or focused

New Question: I haven't seen a fore or aft adjustment for the head rest. I haven't seen mention in the owner's manual. Any help?
The headrest just goes up and down.
