Roof noise
7 months into new 2013 sl lease.
New "noise/shimmy coming from roof I think. Magic sky option
Afraid to have MB tinker with it.
Any thoughts or similar experiences?
Suggestions or thoughts.
Really bothered and aggravated.
Help!

There was a post about a roof seal recall. Check that one first. Then it would be normal to have the seals lubricated from time. This would probably take care of it.
Either way, no big deal to fix roof noises. MB has a lot of experience with this as the mechanism hasn't changed for 12 years

2013 MB SL550
I have some type of noise on the drivers side also. Sounds like it is from the roof also. I haven't looked at my vin to see if I fall in the roof seal recall but figured I would have it adjusted/lubed when I bring it in.
On my older SL I had a similar issue. I played around with the adjustment screws to no avail. I had the seals lubed and the noise stopped.
I expect that is all I will need this time.
