2015 Z06 with Z07 Performance Package
I am having a hard time finding information on this as well. Has anyone actually dyno tuned an SL550? Has anyone tested a tuned one for performance numbers? Being a low production number car it is extremely hard to find information. I am on the fence right now, but I am leaning towards OE Tuning since they are local to me in Huntington Beach and have very good yelp reviews, albeit very few though..

ECU Tuning for 2013 SL550
I emailed ETG (ECU Tunning Group) yesterday. http://ecutuninggroup.com/
Below is the response I got:
You would have to ship your ECU to us, it canonly be bench flashed.
Price is $1495. Car goes to 516hp 618lbs tq.
When we receive the ECU we'll program it and ship it back for a next day pre10.30am delivery.
No tools are required to remove the ECU, takes a couple of minutes to removeit.

2013 SL550 and 1973 Pantera L
Gentleman:
I have just had OE Tuning do their "tune" to my 2013 550, I also just installed the Meisterschaft 3" stainless exhaust system.
While I haven't done a dyno session yet (this week hopefully), I did do a 2300 road trip last week, Sacramento to Seattle, and return. I cruised between 75 and 85MPH (essentially 10-15MPH over the posted). Over the trip, I averaged 25.7MPG, and that's without the ECO funtion. Since I did the exhaust system, and tune, I only drive in the manual mode with the Eco off.
The power improvement is very noticeable. It's significantly faster than the 2013 SL53 AMG (don't ask me how I know this). The power improvement also takes some care on the driver's part. The traction control (on dry pavement) is at it's limits. Additionally the acceleration of the engine is much smoother thruough the power band. Before I could feel a difference between the top torque, and the top horsepower (as the turbos passed thru their power outputs). Now there is no "bump" or "jump", it simply, and smoothly runs right up to the redline.
I fully reccommend both the OE Tune, and the Meisterschaft exhaust system. The sound is amazing, and you no longer sound like a sewing machine.... The guys at OE Tuning are excellent, and they do what they promise. I sent them my ECU on a Monday afternoon, they got it the next morning (when the phoned me to tell me they had it), and they shipped it out that Tuesday afternoon, so I had it back Wednesday morning. Total cost for the tune was just under $1200, and worth every penney.
