Installed Smarttop for the R231
I just installed the Smarttop for the R231. Installation took about an hour and was straight forward. It works great. The single touch for top up and top down with your preferred settings for the windows is great as well as the remote settings which actually raise all the windows.
The only suggestion I would have for them is to be able to integrate the wind deflector setting, but other than that it works very well and it seems to be made well with heavy wiring on the harness and good connectors.

I just ordered one for my new SL. It's a great product. I installed one on my old M6 cab and it worked great. I drop the top all the time and I consider the smart top to be a necessity!
