removing dashboard clock

the car is a 2014 SL550.

I have just finished the installation of a Front/Rear K40 radar and laser detection systems. It is unique in that it has no LED's, but rather the visual indicators are built into the rear view mirror. There is a nice bright orange up arrow for the front system and a down arrow for the rear system. Both indicators are on the left side of the mirror. They are totally invisible when no signals are detected.

I am in the process of installing a curb alert system to detect 4"-5" curbs and warn me with both a tone and a LED. I am tired of destroying front bumpers. I currently have the LED tucked into the left corner of the dash where it meets the windshield. I would like to move it either to the front of the analog clock or just in front of the indicator for the front bumper mounted sensors. Can someone tell me how to remove the grill that is on top of the dash under the clock and sensor indicator? I need to remove it to snake wires and drill a hole for the LED. I am good with electronics but not so good with the removal of automotive trim.

Any help appreciated.
