Changes/Differences in model years?

Hi Gang!

As a new SL550 owner, I am curious what the differences are between model years. I see a lot of video reviews on YouTube for the 2013 model, but I have no idea what (if anything) has changed since then.

I have searched around, but not found much on this. I knew you knowledgeable folks could help me out!

Just about nothing...
Command screen colors changed between 13, 14, 15, hi-rez display between gauges, Night vision and Split screen option added.

'16 model up the engine HP by 20 or so HP, so that will be better.

'17 model will have the facelift. Completely revised front-end (grill, headlights, bumper, etc.), lightly revised rear (bumper/exhaust).

The big question is the dash. Command will be revised and possible a non-integrated screen. If so, I hope it's done as well as the AMG GTS, not the C-Class...

Great! Thanks for the help.

I was baffled by some of the video reviews on the car that said the cup holder was behind the driver. I mean, there IS one there, but also 2 up front. I thought maybe it was an older design.

Plus, how in the world can some people (several reviewers) say the SL550 is ugly!?
Everyone has their opinion, but wow...that is an odd opinion!

Doubtful that MB will ditch the terrible non-integrated iPad anytime soon. The AMG GT S does the iPad screen the most justice out of all the models, though. It sucks all the luxury out of the C class cabin.

@Scott, I agree - I think the SL is a beautiful car! Aesthetically, though, I think they need to differentiate the SLK and SL exterior looks more in future models. To non-MB fanatics, I think it's pretty hard to tell the difference between the two.

I would like to know when the SL will have 4matic? I currently have a 2016 BMW 650ix cabrio. I would like a 2 seater-dont like the back seat.
