SL/R231: Spacers to widen the look?

Spacers to widen the look?
Has anyone done this on the stock 19" amg wheels? I feel like the car stance is not wide enough for the body. Will there be any vibration issues?

The rear is a touch too aggressive, so I would recommend 10mm front/rear.
Drives the same as stock, but will require an alignment/camber adjustment.
I am using the stock wheels for snow tires and have no pics. to show the look, but here is the spacers setup with the forged SL65 19"/20" wheels. Just compare to your car at the same angle

Yes. If you widen the stance, it needs an alignment. Otherwise you have increased wear on the inner tire and with runflats, this will be a costly experience.
Edit: Let me correct that.
I am using hub-centric spacers and many say that no alignment is needed. That said, even before I lowered the car, the tires were wearing on the inside after the spacers. Tires were perfect before spacers.
Now with the alignment, tires wear perfectly again.
PS.I use an electronic lowering module which raises the ride height back to stock over 30mph. For that reason, the car needs no alignment even when lowered.

I would also agree that 10mm front and 15mm rear spacers are the best conservative way to widen the stance. However, 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers will yield a more aggressive stance which I prefer (FIY stock car with stock wheels can even use 20mm front and 25mm rear without rubbing). Also alignment is not required as long as the car is stock (not lowered that is).

Where should I order the best quality spacers. Also I'm confused should I go with 10/15 10/20 or 15/20. Looking for a nice flush look with wide stance when looked at the car from behind. Still want a nice stock ride.

As stated above, for R231 SL, with stock 19" wheels - 8.5" front and 9.5" rear - I would use 15mm front (for et20) and 20mm rear (for et28). H&R part numbers are DR 15mm 3055665 front and DR 20mm 4055665 rear (or DRA 20mm 40556654). For DR spacers you also need 43-45mm front bolts and 48-50mm rear bolts with R14 ball seat (DRA spacers come with special bolts to attach spacer to hub, then OEM wheels are bolted onto spacers with stock OEM 27mm bolts).
ecstuning.com used to be an excellent source (before H&R's price discount was decreased).

Just a thought...
A lot of the SL's in the US use springs instead of ABC. For reasons unknown to me (maybe DOT?) US SL models stand much taller than Euro models.
In Europe, the SL springs come in two lengths (non-AMG package=stock height, sport suspension = lowered by 10mm) but both cars are lower than in the US anyway.
Reason I am mentioning that is that the SL may look silly on a super-wide stance, but tall like an SUV. Lowering the car would improve the look.
When we got our first SL, it was so tall I could fit at least 3 fingers between the top of the tire and the wheel arch and I could actually see the profile on top of the tire when near the car.
That was just too tall for any wheel mods.

No I did not take pictures since I am not running OEM wheels on SL (prefer after market), I think 19s are too small for car's rear. But I did put them on my former CLS with 15mm front and 20mm (or was it 25mm?) rear:
CLS and SL use identical size wheels/tires/offsets. But keep in mind that it looks much better on CLS because it has airmatic so wheel gap is significantly less than in SL especially at rear.
